Welcome to the ISY Early Childhood Interim Campus (ECIC).
The ECIC opened its doors for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 1 students in 2014. It was a temporary solution for creating a space for children in these specific grade levels as we await our new building project completion on the ISY Main Campus.
The ECIC provides a beautiful learning environment for over 100 students. It is a campus where young children feel happy, safe, nurtured, and challenged academically.
Educational practices of the highest quality take place in every classroom as students are encouraged think creatively and critically. Children learn to communicate effectively and to develop problem-solving skills while they are actively engaged in academic activities based on developmentally appropriate standards-based curriculum.
Our faculty consists of highly experienced and highly qualified professionals who are committed to the learning and the development of each student. Every classroom teacher has a teaching assistant, which allows individual and special attention for every child.
The ECIC offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities wherein children have an opportunity to further develop physically, socially, and cognitively.
Our parents play an integral role in the life of our school; they are partners in the education process. Parents help to make the school a welcoming and warm family environment.
It is a great pleasure to be a part of this beautiful learning environment that we all collectively foster here at the ECIC. We welcome you to visit our ECIC and feel the warmth and kindness that creates the uniqueness of our campus and its educational offerings.

The purpose of early childhood education at ISY is to provide a cognitively engaging program within a developmentally appropriate, safe, and nurturing environment. It aims to foster a young child’s imagination through active play and movement, and seeks to honor a child’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity. Promoting responsibility, the confidence to take on challenges, kindness, and respect of others and the environment are also integral aims of early childhood education at ISY. A balance of student-initiated and teacher guided learning experiences support this vision of early childhood education.
