Chinthe Expeditions

Chinthe Expeditions are a signature part of the ISY experience for students in Grades 5 through 12, offering immersive learning opportunities beyond the classroom. These carefully designed trips promote team building, compassion, community engagement, and personal growth. Grade 5 students begin their journey with a two-night in-country experience, while students in Grades 6 to 12 participate in overseas expeditions that connect them with diverse cultures and environments. Each expedition integrates elements of service learning, physical activity, and academic exploration, encouraging students to develop resilience, compassion, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Chinthe Expeditions foster lasting friendships, inspire global citizenship, and create meaningful memories that shape our students as compassionate learners and leaders.
